MEET JENNIFER FAILLA - PRINCIPAL
Jennifer Failla, based in Austin, Texas, leads the team at Strada Wealth Management, a family planning firm that values engagement, collaboration, and accountability with its clients.
At Strada, the focus is on fostering a fiduciary relationship that purely serves the client's best interests, a distinction that sets the firm apart.
ABOUT JENNIFER
Money gets complicated when life gets complicated. Jennifer Failla built Strada Wealth Management around that reality.
As a fee-only fiduciary financial planner based in Austin, Texas, Jennifer works with families navigating life's most financially complex moments -- divorce, retirement, the loss of a spouse, a major career change. Where other planners see complexity, she sees her specialty.
Jennifer holds credentials most financial planners don't: she's a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA™), certified mediator, and collaborative divorce professional -- a combination that makes her one of the few advisors in the country equally equipped to handle both the financial and human dimensions of family transition.
She also holds the Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF) designation and serves as a FINRA Dispute Resolution Arbitrator.
Her work spans comprehensive financial planning, investment management, tax and retirement strategy, estate coordination, and elder care support. Her divorce practice is among her most distinctive: from prenuptial agreements and property settlement reviews to co-mediation and post-divorce financial rebuilding, she guides clients through the full arc of the process.
EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Jennifer's academic background is as impressive as her professional credentials. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Masters of Science in Family Financial Planning from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she was a member of the National Honor Society.
She also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from Saint Mary's College.
Her philanthropic efforts are further evidenced through her involvement with the Jewish Federations of North America and Shalom Austin where she holds several local and national leadership positions. Currently she is on the Board of National Women’s Philanthropy representing thousands of leaders across the U.S.
She is the founder and former leader of the TEXSAR Dive Team and a Master Underwater Criminal Investigator -- she recently retired her nationally certified Search-and-Rescue (SAR) K9, Squanto.
VISION AND ACCOLADES
At Strada, the goal has never been to manage money for people -- it's to make sure they understand it. Jennifer believes every client deserves the knowledge and clarity to make their own informed decisions, not just a plan handed to them. That conviction shapes everything: how she communicates, how she structures her advice, and why she built a firm where clients leave every conversation feeling more capable, not more dependent.
Jennifer is not only a trusted financial planner and analyst but also an esteemed speaker, forthcoming author, and recipient of the distinguished Tzaddik Award from the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. In March 2026, she accepted the Hymie & Louise Samuelson Leadership Award for work and commitment to strengthen Shalom Austin and the greater Jewish community.
